Craters Mountain Bike Tracks

There's just too much to talk about here. The 80km of trails are from grade 1 beginner cruises for the family to grade 6 extreme adrenalin junky screamers. The trails are exceptional in nearly any weather due to the free draining pumice topography and are though a mix of cutover and plantation forest.

Just be aware that you will need to be a Bike Taupo Member or purchase a visitor pass. Daily visitor and annual membership is available online here or at the Taupo I-Site, Hub Cafe over the road from the entrance to Craters, White Water World or any of Taupo's local bike retailers.

You'll need to spend $10 for a week pass to enjoy the of rides in this amazing mountain biking mecca. Better still, why not join up for a year for $40 or join the whole family for $60. Then you can keep coming back for more punishment! 

Ride to Craters from Taupō in approx. 30mins, or drive and park at Craters MTB Car Park off Karapiti Road or give us a buzz and we can drop you at Q Line Road carpark off SH1.
